What this demo proves

I can shape raw inventory records into KPI reporting, not just build UI.
The dashboard is filterable and recalculates metrics, risk lists, and action summaries in real time.
The outputs are framed for actual business conversations: reorder, dead stock, and stock health.

Dataset assumptions

Simulated 12-month demand histories with category-specific seasonality and variability.
Lead time, safety stock, unit cost, and stock on hand are randomized but deterministic.
Reorder risk is based on safety stock and days-of-cover vs lead time.

Why both case study and dashboard?

The case study shows the narrative and business framing. This page shows I can also build the working artifact and make it usable for actual review.

Methodology & KPI logic

Reorder risk is triggered when available stock falls below effective safety stock or when days of cover fall below buffered lead time.

ABC classes are assigned from annual consumption value using a simple Pareto-style cumulative threshold: A up to 80%, B up to 95%, then C.

Dead stock is identified from very low recent demand combined with excess stock versus the effective safety baseline.
